Dear fellow Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia,
We invite you to join Ethiopian Action for Unity and Democracy (Tegbar), a worldwide Ethiopian political movement that strives to bring about a positive political change in Ethiopia.
Ever since Tegbar was formed in 1997, it has tried to give voice to thousands of voiceless prisoners of conscience in Ethiopia who are languishing in disease-infested jails. Tegbar has been doing this through continuous protest rallies, petition drives, lobbying, and other forms of activities.
Currently, the Meles regime is perpetrating massive human rights violations in our country. Over one hundred thousand innocent Ethiopians who are suspected of supporting opposition parties are being tortured and killed in concentration camps in remote parts of the country. We Ethiopians need to get organized and help stop this atrocity on our people.
As a civic group, Tegbar is trying to create international awareness for the plight of our people. We are coordinating our activities with other civic groups and political parties. Please join us so that we can be stronger, and do more.

1. To register send a check or money order — include your full name and address, if possible. Also provide your phone number and email address.

2. Minimum payment is $30 per month (membership fee can be waived for students)
3. You will receive a reminder for the current month with a return addressed prepaid envelop and a receipt for your record.
4. You will be issued a Tegbar ID/membership Card after 6 month of consistent contribution.
